The Ask: "Can you create an MVP?"
The Background:
This partner was a start up business that was looking to develop a games controller specifically adapted for users with certain physical and/or neurological disabilities. The disabilities often made it challenging for them to use standard off the shelf controllers.
The Output:
The partner had a clear vision for the product and some existing 3D representations. We used the representations to create a 3D model of the product and leveraged 3D printing to provide the partner with various physical mock ups to try put for form and fit.
Once settled on an exterior design and configuration we were able to refine the design further to incorporate functional and manufacturing details; such as internal PCB mounting points and part segregations.
The Results:
The partner received a functional MVP with full design pack ready for manufacturing.
